Selma's older streets, especially around downtown and the Floral Ave corridor, are lined with sycamores and ash trees. Beautiful in summer, a blizzard of leaves in November. This is the cleanup we run on every Selma account in fall.
Week 1: high-and-out first
We start with gutters, roof valleys, and the patio overhangs. Leaves trapped up high will rain down on a freshly-blown yard within a day if you skip this.
Week 2: full yard blowout & mulch mow
We blow the entire property, then mulch-mow the leaves on the lawn. Mulched leaves break down into free fertilizer over winter, a Selma-specific tip thanks to our long, mild fall.
Week 3: bed reset & sprinkler shutdown
Final cleanup of all planter beds, trim back perennials, and dial sprinklers to a winter schedule. We shut systems off entirely around mid-December once the first real cold arrives.
