Bermuda: aerate in late spring
Bermuda lawns wake up in April. The perfect aeration window in Sanger is late April through early June, when the grass is actively growing and can fill the plug holes within 2 to 3 weeks.
Fescue: aerate in early fall
Fescue does its real recovery in cool weather. We aerate Sanger fescue lawns in late September or early October, then overseed in the same visit for a thick spring lawn.
